A Few Site Updates

In the ongoing effort to make graphicPUSH more popular than CNN, I have made a few cosmetic and structural changes. The right and left columns have changed slightly; the “Fresh Ink” feature is now on the left column and is constant throughout the site.
This left me room to introduce another small section called “New Fonts,” which, as you may have guessed, forwards font announcements from large and small foundries. This will also feature fonts from independent designers, so if there are any aspiring type crafters out there, send me a note and score some free publicity. Typography is something I am passionate about, and since I’m not even skilled enough to rip off Helvetica and call it Arial (did I say that out loud?), I thought I would do my part by at least announcing new arrivals to the ever-expanding font family.
You will also notice some new icons on the right. These are cool, I know.
Other structural changes include making these left and right columns consistent throughout the site, with the right one being slightly altered depending on what section you’re in. I am also switching e-mail engines for the newsletter feature, so if you haven’t already signed up, now’s a great time.
