Three Babies

What little bubbles of free time I had have been unceremoniously filled in with the unapologetic round-the-clock schedule of child-rearing.

In a bit of synchronicity, three web-design-blog-type people are having babies right now.

I have not heard one way or the other from the other two, but our baby (Nathan Alexander) arrived 12:19 PM on September 22 (first day of Fall). He was a beefy 9 lbs 4 oz and came in at 21 inches long. Big kid, just like his dad. Also ridiculously cute and prone to considerable nocturnal vocal activity.

graphicPUSH will not turn into a baby/parenting blog, because there are others who do it all too well. But this post serves as a pre-emptive apology if posts are slow over the next few weeks, since what little bubbles of free time I had have been unceremoniously filled in with the unapologetic round-the-clock schedule of child-rearing.

Update 2004-09-30: Baby Zeldman has arrived.

Hey! Congratulations, Kevin… Hope everyone is doing well and that the nocturnal vocal activity settles to a minimum!!

Cheers,
Derek (who has been up since 4am, because that is when our 4 month old decides he wants to play with Mommy and Daddy… It will be nice when he sleeps through the night like his older sisters!)

Congrats Kevin and Zeldman!

Our baby boy was born Monday morning at 1:21AM. He was 8 pounds 9 ounces and 21 inches long.

Both mother and baby are doing well and we’ve named him Jonah.

Sam—
Congradulations. I guess I should have waited a few days before posting!

Derek—
We have been already trying hard to get Nathan on a solid sleep schedule. It is an uphill battle.

Everybody is having babies! Where do I get one? Are they on sale at the moment?

But seriously, congratulations on becoming a dad, and thank you for not mentioning any supremely geeky parent:child type css rules!
